Our president, Thomas Rescinti Demont, has had a long career in the technical services and security industry, including developing certified courses and authoring numerous publications. Are you a part of the ASSA ABLOY group?

ASSA Technical Services Inc uses the name ASSA linked to their name as a way of promoting ASSA sales. Our technical services specifically use their brand alone. TSI is a master distributor for ASSA Swedish products in North America. TSI only distributes the ASSA brand, and is not part of the ASSA ABLOY group of companies world wide.

What range of products do you offer?

Our technical services include offering you everything you need to keep your buildings, belongings, and other areas secure. We have a wide variety of locking mechanisms; including padlocks, auxiliary locks, mortise locks, ship set locks, and many more. We also carry keys with the CLIQ® security locking system. Our inventory includes an expansive list of accessories; trim plates, door closers, lever handles, exit devices, FIX window lock handles... if you need it, we have it!

We also offer books written by Tom himself. The series "Life Safety Codes 'In The Means of Egress'" covers the topic of building and fire codes in the means of egress, of which Tom is a hardware expert. The book "Running a Successful Service Company- Made Easy" takes Tom's own personal experiences building the biggest locksmith company in the DC metro area, and provides valuable insight into the strategies and solutions of business.

We even have a 288 page Italian cookbook available, filled with recipes handed down from generation to generation, all the way back to the Rescinti family in Campania, Italy in 1625. These publications are available in addition to our security and hardware products!

What makes CLIQ® security different?

CLIQ® programmable keys use high end technology to give you peace of mind when it comes to security for areas with regularly changing access requirements. Using a wireless system, these battery operated keys can each be updated and programmed individually, allowing for flexible scheduling when access is needed at specific times and dates. It's also very easy to enable or disable these keys, or customize and manage scheduling.

Can you explain more about Tom's "Life Safety Codes" book series?

The Life Safety Codes "In the Means of Egress" book series provides an in depth overview of the fire and safety codes regarding the safe route out of a building or structure. These books are color coded, and updated every 3 years. Used as a basis for training seminars, this series contains must-have knowledge for hardware installers, including locksmiths, alarm installers, access control installers, and maintenance personnel in facilities.

When working with any commercial property, it is vital to be up to date with life safety codes and to understand how door frames and hardware are treated in means of egress. We offer these books to you directly to provide you with this valuable information at a very reasonable price.
